The J-IWS is a dual-band (2.4 & 5 GHz) Wi-Fi antenna which connects directly to our vehicle PCs or routers. We recommend a direct-connection antenna such as the J-IWS when Wi-Fi communication will be taking place entirely within the vehicle (e.g. between an in-vehicle router and other on-board mobile devices).
An articulated right-angled connector offers great flexibility for optimum antenna positioning, and the antenna has a sleek profile for low visual impact.
The J-IWS normally allows a vehicle PC or router to communicate with external networks or devices that are close to the vehicle, but for longer range communication and better performance an external antenna is recommended.
