The CQ20 has landed. It is the most compact PC we build for permanent vehicle installs, and it fits where a full-size vehicle PC cannot. Fanless, x86, and configured to your order in the UK.

Built for tight installs
At 0.9 kg and 150 x 105 x 49 mm, the CQ20 mounts behind a dashboard, inside a rescue control van or in the seat-back of an airside bus. The fanless aluminium chassis has no moving parts and no air filters to clog, so it copes with dust and vibration. A wall mount is supplied as standard, with side, DIN rail and VESA kits available on request.

Runs the software you already use
The CQ20 is a standard x86 platform built on the Intel Atom x6425E. Windows and Linux are both supported, your existing drivers work without modification, and there is no proprietary middleware. If your team already has a working Windows or Linux build, it runs on the CQ20 without requalification. Specify the memory, storage and operating system at order, and we image and test the unit before it ships.
Set how it powers up and down with PCU
Every CQ20 ships with PCU, our in-house utility for controlling how the PC powers up and down with the vehicle ignition. A vehicle PC has to wait for stable power after the engine cranks, then shut down cleanly when the ignition goes off without flattening the battery. PCU sets that timing in software, with no jumpers or guesswork.
You work with four delays: ignition-on, software-on, software-off and power-off. Set an anti-crank delay so the PC ignores the voltage dip while the engine starts, a boot delay before your software launches, a shutdown delay after the key turns off, and a force-off timeout that cuts power if the operating system ever hangs. Live readback from the on-board controller confirms every change.
PCU runs on Windows and Linux and works fully offline. Use the GUI on the desktop to configure one vehicle at a time and see the boot, run and shutdown windows on a timeline. Or drop the matching CLI into your provisioning scripts so every unit on a fleet build ships with identical timing. The command-line tool runs headless with no display attached, returns JSON for your own tooling, and gives integrators and line testers the same result on every machine.

Stays connected on the move
Configure the CQ20 with optional 5G NR Sub-6 or 4G LTE so the vehicle stays online wherever it goes. Add tri-band Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4, with an integrated multi-constellation GNSS receiver (GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou and Galileo) for positioning. Wired networking is 2.5GbE plus Gigabit LAN, with Wake-on-LAN and PXE boot for remote provisioning across the fleet.

On-board AI, no cloud round trip
An optional Hailo-8 module slots into the CQ20 via M.2 Key M and delivers 26 TOPS of edge inference for around 3.3W under ResNet-50. No discrete GPU, no active cooling, no cloud dependency. ANPR, driver monitoring, passenger counting and video analytics all run locally on the vehicle, so decisions happen on board rather than after a round trip to a server. The extended-temperature variant sustains inference workloads across the full -40 to +85 C range.

Made for the vehicle environment
The CQ20 takes a 9 to 36 VDC input, covering both 12V and 24V systems, with reverse-polarity, over-voltage and over-current protection built in. It is rated -40 to +70 C for unheated cabs, roof racks and outdoor enclosures. TPM 2.0 and secure boot give a hardware-rooted device identity for security-sensitive fleet and government work, and E-mark E11 type approval (10R-054687) is available when supplied under our approved production process.
Part of the CQ range, built to order in the UK
The CQ20 is the compact end of the CQ range. Need more compute or I/O? The CQ40, CQ50S and CQ80 scale up from the same platform. Every unit is configured, built and tested in the UK, with a typical lead time of two to four weeks and a two-year return-to-base warranty as standard, extendable to three or five years.
