We are delighted to announce that we have been awarded funding from the Microelectronics iNet, who are part financed by the European Regional Development Fund South West Competitiveness and Employment Programme 2007-2013, to support the development of our forthcoming fanless series of in-vehicle computers.
The award resulted from In-CarPC entering the Microelectronics iNet funding competition, which seeks small to medium enterprises from across the South West of England to apply for project innovation vouchers. The competitions are run to support the innovative use of microelectronics technology in new products and services.
The panel were particularly impressed with In-CarPC’s application, especially with the product’s potential for single-purpose embedded in-vehicle applications as well as more general purpose in-vehicle computing, and awarded the maximum level of funding available.
The funding will be used to accelerate features of the product that may otherwise have been added at a later date.
