Once the software is loaded the computer will recognise the words that are spoken and type them into whichever program is being used. Text can be input into almost any program, including Microsoft Word, Outlook and Internet Explorer. The software also enables users to control standard Windows programs with their voice, including browsing the internet using Internet Explorer by verbally instructing the computer as to which links should be followed.
