Access Removable Media with our Car Computers
No traditional in-car entertainment device can rival the connectivity of our car computers, which can access data from:
CDs and DVDs
Our in-dash displays include built-in DVD drives, but if you choose a free-standing display we can neatly integrate a DVD drive into your car's dashboard. The drive is slot loading, meaning that there's no tray to fiddle with - the disc just pushes in. We offer 2 types of optical drive:
- DVD & CD-RW Drive
Reads DVDs (DVD±R, DVD±RW, DVD-RAM, including dual-layer discs)
Reads and writes to CDs (CD-R, CD-RW)
- DVD-RW Drive
Reads and writes to DVDs (DVD±R, DVD±RW, DVD-RAM, including dual-layer discs)
Reads and writes to CDs (CD-R, CD-RW)
Both types of drive offer high reading and writing speeds and feature buffer underrun prevention so that your discs are created successfully. Your computer will include the software necessary to create CDs and DVDs.
USB Devices
Our computers include at least one USB 2.0 port* mounted in a convenient location in your car so that you can use any USB device that you want, including USB flash drives and external hard drives. Playing music or videos from USB storage devices couldn't be easier, as the Centrafuse software interface automatically scans inserted media and lists the media content for you.
Memory Cards
We can install a card reader into your car that reads and writes to 80 different types of memory cards, so no matter what type of card your data is stored on the computer will be able to access it.

*As standard we install at least one USB2.0 port within easy reach of the driver. However, if you want more ports then this can easily be arranged.
