Our marine PCs offer supreme performance and great flexibility, amongst other benefits, which complement the requirements of boat manufacturers, conversion specialists and boat owners. The following sections show exactly how these groups can obtain the most advanced navigation support; benefit from great flexibility leading to reduced long-term costs; improve security and safety; and access an array of information from a single device.

Advanced Navigation Support
Our marine PCs can be supplied to a very high specification while occupying an extremely small physical footprint, making them easy to install in tight spaces. In particular, our 'C2' series computers use Intel Core i3/i5/i7 processors which offer exceptional levels of performance – providing reassurance that they will be able to meet the most demanding set of requirements. This high-level of performance means that our marine computers can support specialist marine software, including: charting, fish finder, radar and advanced navigation software. As such, this software will provide the end-user with sophisticated location and depth information in real-time, worldwide tide and current information, as well as enabling them to plan detailed waypoints and routes. Thanks to our marine PCs' extensive connectivity options these waypoints and routes can be planned remotely in advance and then transferred to the marine PC easily at a convenient time.
Expandability
As well as supporting specialist marine software, the high level of expandability of our boat PCs means that a wide range of marine hardware devices can be connected for a variety of purposes, thus serving a broad range of requirements. These devices include (but are not limited to): marine cameras, AIS receivers, fish finders, SONAR technology and thermal imaging cameras.
Safety, Security & Process
With the ability to connect various types of cameras (interior and exterior) to our marine PC systems, high levels of safety and security can be ensured.
Firstly, exterior cameras with infrared sensors can provide full visibility of buoys, floating debris, rocks, land, bridges and other vessels both throughout day and night. Our boat PCs can enable the end-user to view this footage live or record it for future viewing. Docking safety can also be greatly improved by being able to monitor blind spots and other angles of the exterior of the boat.
Secondly, interior cameras can be used to keep track of the engine room, the crew or other operations in order to monitor and improve health and safety; and check that correct procedures are being followed.
Finally, with multiple display support, the captain/boat driver could be utilising specialist navigation software whilst another crew member in a different section of the boat is using a second touch sensitive display, both on the same PC. Another benefit of our marine PCs is the ability to run a prompting system (with relevant software), such as safety reminders/checklists, which ensures high levels of safety and thus reduces the risk of an incident occurring.
Entertainment
Another option for boat manufacturers or conversion specialists is to use our marine computers as a platform on which to run a multimedia system. As mentioned above, our PC systems can support multiple displays, including large and high-resolution displays – ideal for a group of people wishing to view various media types such as DVDs.
Another option is to connect satellite television to our computers, providing greater convenience and a single point of control for media purposes. Therefore hardware costs can be reduced as both the PC and satellite TV can be displayed through the same monitors.
Centrafuse software can be coupled with our flexible, high-performance PCs and can greatly improve passengers' multimedia experience. With an intuitive interface similar to those of leading multimedia systems, passengers have hassle-free control over an array of media types, as well as easy access to the Windows operating system. Connectivity
When combined with satellite internet equipment our marine PCs can provide high speed internet access to boat occupants. With maritime internet access, the number of possible uses of our in-vehicle PCs becomes extensive. Some applications include (but are not limited to): VOIP communication; web browsing; sending/receiving e-mails; video conferencing; accessing comprehensive weather information; sending reports or boating information to various parties; access to the most up-to-date news; and much more.
Our marine computers will enable end-users to reduce their long-term hardware costs, as only one hardware system will need to be purchased to run an array of applications. Furthermore, long-term costs can also be saved because, should there be an upgrade requirement, it will not be necessary to purchase a whole new system since the relevant components can normally simply be upgraded. This will ensure that end users pay less for the most advanced hardware - providing great value for money for high quality products.
